Whatever the medium – photography, fashion, or film – Elizabeth Perrin’s images are infused with emotional resonance and subtle narrative. Born on the Gulf Coast, Elizabeth worked as a runway model before moving to the other side of the lens, where she now specializes in cinematic fashion photography, portraiture, and commercial advertising.
Elizabeth has received grants from the Los Angeles Chapter of Women in Film and the National Endowment for the Arts, and has worked as a teaching assistant at the International Center for Photography. As a photographer, her clients include Glamour, Vogue, Spirit and Flesh, Style.com, Atlantic Records, Sony Music, LA Weekly, and Spin, and her commercial and nonprofit clients include HBO True Detective, the American Cancer Foundation, the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Mignon Faget, Marion Cage, John Humphries Jewelry, Iberia Bank, and Pelican Coast Clothing Company.
A regular contributor to New York Fashion Week, her commissions include designers Sally LaPointe, Siki Im, Tim Hamilton, Katie Gallagher, Mandy Coon, and Phillip Lim. In 2013, a fashion film she co-directed, Desire Without End, was nominated in seven categories by the International Fashion Film Festival.
For twenty-five years Elizabeth lived and worked in New York and Los Angeles before returning to New Orleans. She is the founder and creative director of FiftyTwo45 LLC.
